NARRATIVE ESSAY: GENDER INEQUALITY IN SCHOOL (AQIL)

Nabil was a highs school student that is 16 years old. He has the nature to be lazy and does not like to learn. Last year, Nabil moved to a new school of his family works. His family have suggested Nabil to move into a good school to improve his performance in education. And so Nabil agreed to the family suggestion without thinking much.

 The next day, Nabil and his mother goes to the school to register into his new class. On that day, everything goes smoothly just like what Nabil thought, is that everyone will comfortably make friend with him. But, after a while Nabil saw that there were more female student in the class compare to male student. At the end of the class, the teacher have reminded every student that in the next week the school will hold the mid year examination. All the female student were enjoy with that news except Nabil and other male student because they don’t like to study . Nabil feel uncomfortable with the news that the teacher have send.

 After a few weeks, the exam result have been out. The class teacher has announced the position of the exam in the class. However, in the ranking list only a few male students got excellent results in the exam and besides that the teachers have also given gift only to excellent female students only.From that day, Nabil and others male student have been ignored by their teacher because the teachers think they have no interest in learning more. So, Nabil and others male student feel neglected during the learning session in class. So when the situation continues , their academic performance will down day by day because they do not get the oppurnity and attention from the teacher while in class
