Gender Discrimination That Are Happening in Education

Did you known that most school have made a promise for making the best life of student and make sure the equality on each of them during in school. Well to your surprise even though they have promised that there is still ongoing discrimination happening between the boy and the girl students. This discrimination happened because of the stigma view of the girls and boys. They have all have this outgoing view that the boy will be strong and childish meanwhile the girl is look up to as feeble and more mature.

The first kind of discrimination that are happening right now is that the girls and boys are given way less participate chance on join any kind of event based on their gender. All of this can be seen when school board organize an event, for instance whenever there is a sports day the boys will be heavily depends on to join the program furthermore the female will be discouraging on to join just because they are prone to have weaker stamina and strength. Furthermore, the opposite things will happen between the boys and girls if there is a contest based on intellect and art.

Moreover, in some recedes places like India. The society have discouraged the female from acquiring education. This is mainly because the female is burden with the responsibility taking care of the household such preparing meals, cleaning and taking care of their little brothers and sisters. The female times of the days will be taken on toll for managing the household and will then make them not being able to get a proper education.

The same things can also be said for the male’s counterpart. While the female is tasked with the housework some of males are being burden with the responsibility to gather an income to bring food to the table. At a very young age the males are asked to find a job whether as grocery store clerk or carter the farm animals. All of this will lead to them being unable to have a suitable time to go to school.

With all the examples being shown, it can be concluded that the stigma and tradition that have been stuck with us are needed to be removed from everyone mindset. This is because we are moving forward for a better future where everybody should have the equal opportunity and not stuck with a role, they have been given with depending on their gender birth.
